Ultimate Smothered Chicken with Bacon

  • 4 slices Wright® Brand Bacon 
  • 6 5-ounce Tyson® Fresh Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts 
  • 1/4 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 4-ounce can chopped green chilies, drained
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
Ultimate Smothered Chicken with Bacon


  1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Cook bacon in skillet over medium heat until cooked, but not crisp. Transfer to paper towels to drain; keep warm. Grease shallow baking dish; set aside.
  2. Flatten chicken to 1/4-inch thickness. Sprinkle with seasoned salt. Combine cheese, chilies, and garlic in medium bowl. Spread half of mixture onto each chicken breast. Roll up chicken and wrap each with 2 bacon strips; secure with toothpicks.
  3. Place chicken in prepared baking dish. Bake, uncovered, 45 minutes. Cover and bake 10 to 15 minutes longer or until internal juices of chicken run clear. (Or insert instant-read meat thermometer into thickest part of chicken. Temperature should read 180˚F.)
