  • 1 Tbsp. extra-virgin olive oil
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 large bunch collard greens
  • Juice from 1 lemon
  • A dash of salt
  • A dash of pepper
Braised Collard Greens

Instructions

  1. Add the olive oil to a large pan and saute the garlic and onions for 2 minutes over medium heat.
  2. Add rinsed and chopped collard greens to mix, and squeeze the fresh lemon juice over all ingredients.
  3. Add the salt and pepper and stir over medium-high heat until garlic and onions have browned, about 4 minutes.
