Instructions

  1. Create the page base:
    Use paper trimmer to cut one 10-3/4" x 9-1/4" piece of red damask pattern paper, one 10-5/8" x 9" piece of large green dot pattern paper, and one 10-5/8" x 5" piece of light green pattern paper. Use corner rounder as desired. Ink edges. Layer together. Adhere to one 12" x 12" piece of snowflake pattern paper to create base. Ink edges. Use paper trimmer to cut two 5-1/4" x 3-3/4" pieces of red stripe pattern paper. Ink edges. Layer together with two 5" x 3-1/2" photos. Adhere to layout.
  2. Go to cricut.com/project and search for “Holiday sparkle scrapbook page”. From the project page, download the project files and import them into the Cricut Craft Room® design software.
  3. Using the imported .ccr files, create the page embellishments:
    • Cut holly and berries layers. Ink edges. Layer together. Adhere to layout.
    • Cut journal block layers. Ink edges. Layer together. Adhere to layout. Use paper trimmer to trim bottom.
    • Cut title layers. Ink edges. Layer together. Adhere to layout.
    • Cut ornament layers. Use scissors to trim cuts. Ink edges. Layer together. Use foam squares to adhere to layout.
  4. Embellish as desired with baker’s twine, stickers, and rhinestones.

Instructions

  1. Go to cricut.com/project and search for "Merry Christmas card". From the project page, download the project files and import them into the Cricut Craft Room® design software.
  2. Using the imported .ccr files, create the card base:
    • Cut the "card front" layer from kraft paper. Fold in half.
  3. Use paper trimmer to cut one 2 1⁄2" x 4 3⁄4" piece of green pattern paper and one 1 1⁄2" x 1" piece of red cardstock. Layer and adhere to inside front of card.
  4. Embellish as desired.

Let It Snow card

Instructions

  1. Go to cricut.com/project and search for "Let it Snow card". From the project page, download the project files and import them into the Cricut Craft Room® design software.
  2. Using the imported .ccr files, create the card:
    • Cut the “card” layer from light blue cardstock. Fold in half.
    • Cut the “liner” layer from light blue cardstock.
  3. Apply glitter tape to front of liner, to show under text of card. Adhere to card inside.
  4. Embellish as desired.

    • Cut the "leaf" layer from Evergreen, Leaf, and Sleigh Shop cardstock
  3. Fold and assemble leaves. Adhere three leaves together with floral wire.

  2. Using the imported .ccr files, cut rosette to make trees:
    For large red rosette tree:
    • Cut Scarlet1 through Scarlet5 layers from Scarlet cardstock
    • Cut OTree1 and OTree2 layers from O Christmas Tree cardstock
    • Cut Charles1 and Charles2 layers from Charles cardstock
    • Cut Scarlet layer (rosette center) from Scarlet cardstock
    Large kraft rosette tree:
    • Cut Kraft2 through Kraft5 layers from Kraft cardstock
    • Cut Charles1and Charles3 layers from Charles cardstock
    • Cut Snowflake1 and Snowflake2 layers form Snowflake Factory cardstock
    • Cut Reindeer1 layer from Reindeer Training cardstock
    • Cut Kraft1 layer (rosette center) from Kraft cardstock
    Small red rosette tree:
    • Cut Scarlet6 through Scarlet 9 layers from Scarlet cardstock
    • Cut Toboggan1throughTobaggan 3 layers from Toboggan cardstock
    • Cut Scarlet layer (rosette center) from Scarlet cardstock
    Stars:
    • Cut twelve stars (Kraft layer) from Kraft cardstock
    • Cut six stars (Scarlet5 layer) from Scarlet cardstock
  3. Use hot glue gun to adhere dowels and empty ribbon spools together to create stands.
  4. For all trees, accordion-fold all cuts and adhere ends together to make rosettes. Stack rosettes from largest to smallest on stands and adhere together.
  5. For all starts, fold each star in half and adhere five stars together. Adhere to trees.
  6. Embellish as desired.

  1. Go to cricut.com/project and search for "cookie exchange". From the project page, download the project files and import them into the Cricut Craft Room® design software.
  2. Using the imported .ccr files, cut base from light brown cardstock. Create phrase layers from dark brown and red cardstock.
  3. Layer phrase together and adhere. Adhere phrase to base and attach to CD folder with ribbon.
  4. Embellish as desired.

Advent calendar mittens

Technically, this project uses felt instead of paper, but die cut machines offer lots of creative ways to decorate the home. Your kids will love this advent calendar as their interactive countdown to Christmas. Fill them with treats to enjoy each day.

Red felt (1 yard)
White stiffened felt (1 sheet)
Scrap cardstock (1)

Instructions

  1. Go to cricut.com/project and search for "advent calendar mittens." From the project page, download the project files and import them into the Cricut Craft Room® design software.
  2. Using the imported .ccr files, cut "stockings" layer from scrap cardstock.
  3. Use the cut stockings piece as a pattern to trace onto red felt 48 times. Use scissors to cut out traced lines. Use sewing machine to stitch layers together.
  4. Using the imported .ccr files, cut "white tops" and "numbers" layer from white stiffened craft felt (experiment with machine settings and scrap felt for best results).
  5. Adhere felt tops and numbers to stockings, as shown. Add ribbon hanging loop if desired.
  6. Embellish as desired.
